Our Whole Bean Coffees come from top roasters for exceptional taste, freshness, and consistency.  We like to try new coffee varieties all the time, especially when there’s been a particularly good crop.  Come on in to see what we have today.

Torreo                                

Torreo is Philadelphia’s top micro-roaster.  Torreo only roasts in small batches so the beans arrive at InFusion within days of roasting, for the freshest cup of coffee imaginable.  Torreo is obsessive about quality and only purchases the highest-quality beans at a premium from small estate farms, so most of their coffees are also fairly-traded and organic.

Equal Exchange                       

Equal Exchange works directly with small farming cooperatives to purchase only Certified Fairly-Traded coffees.  All of these coffees are also Certified Organic and Shade Grown.  Because they are grown without the use of chemicals and in their natural environment without clear-cutting, the beans produced are among the finest in the world.

Loose Leaf Teas                            

InFusion’s gourmet loose-leaf teas and herbal infusions come from three companies, House of Tea, The Republic of Tea, and Divinitea.  House of Tea is one of the largest retail stores specializing in loose-leaf teas and they’re based right here in Philly!   The Republic of Tea is committed to the sustainability of small estate farms for its fine hand-picked teas.

Black Teas, Black tea leaves are fully fermented and dried; use water at a rolling boil and brew for 4-5 min.

Green Teas, Green tea leaves are not fermented and are much lighter in flavor than black teas; use water at 180-190 degrees and brew for 2-3 min.
